, energy, and manufacturing initiatives. today as you know we'll meet with president obama. we look forward to that meeting to lay out our shared vision of economic growth in a balanced approach to deficit reduction. we need to reduce the deficit. we all agree on that. democrats for decades have been saying pay as you go. republicans repealed that aspect because they didn't want to pay for their tax expenditures which are as much in spending as any other spending in the budget. again recognizing the budgets are not just about numbers, and their numbers don't really add up in a good way for america's great middle class, their budgets are about the impacts that they have on the american people. we look forward to continuing that debate. i'm very proud of our members. they understand the knowledge of the budget and what it contains are really the fundamentals of what we come here to debate. and this isn't just about what we pass one day or another. the decisions made in these budgets and what that means in the legislative process, appropriation, ways and means, etc., the impact of these budget

energy grids, fix our wastewater and high-speed rail and engage the private sector with the make work pay credit. and then we're going to do things like help support local heroes like mark cray who is a paraprofessional and also cops. in my own state of minnesota, we are going to have a cut of $200,000. this is money that we use to train police officers to be better and more effective and serve the public better and we aren't going to have that. i'm not here to put my friends on the other side of the aisle down. i'm here to say they have another vision of america and that vision of america is that government can't help people and that government can't do anything right. they're wrong. they're wrong. if the interstate highway system, that's government. the interstate highway government is government. police who work the beat and make sure that the shopkeepers' stuff isn't ripped off, that's government. this thing about government is always wrong, is wrong. and time for the american people to say, responsive government does great things for american people. and along with the private sector

that showed up for that endorsement. we spent a lot of time and a lot of energy and effort making sure that scott walker and ron johnson won that primary. that was our decision. i would not have appreciated the national party countrymen and telling the state of wisconsin i do not know about scott walker i think we will go with mark neumann. that is ridiculous. that is the point. it is not that we want to handcuff ourself it is just not practical. it is not right. on to beors have gone some of the most significance president rick significant president's. -- the most significant presence. are you doing enough to support that? >> that is the plan for 2013 and 2014. i know our state parties do a lot of work. the rga does. we have a different party, it too. 15 or 20 years ago or maybe more there was not nrcc. there was not 10 or 20 different super pacs. we have a big group of organizations that are involved in getting republicans and conservatives elected. together notput only the best infrastructure and and overallhanics messaging. for the most are there are lots of players out there that
